ERECTION OF A PETROL FILLING STATION FORECOURT WITH ASSOCIATED SHOP, WATER/AIR SERVICE FACILITIES & RESIDENTIAL FLAT AS FIRST FLOOR FOR USE BY OPERATOR PERSONEL.DEMOLITION OF AN EXISITNG GARAGE AND CAR SERVICING FACILITY.
The Garage Planning Application was given permission on 3rd August 2020.
Currently ‘Pending Consideration’ by Forest of Dean District Council (FODDC) under Application P0138/21/DISCON is the ‘Discharge of Conditions’:
06 – Land Contamination, and 09 Water Drainage Scheme.
Consultations in September 2022 noted the design criteria and subject to the development being in accordance with this, recommendations were given for discharge of condition 09 – Water Drainage Scheme.
On 16th January 2023 FODDC agreed a 6-month time extension.
On 6th June 2023, a further 6-month time extension was applied for.
Currently, the Site Developers are working hard towards getting an agreement with the preferred Contractor to progress the scheme, so further time is required to be in a position to conclude and confirm the definitive programme of works.
FODDC have agreed the further 6-month time extension until 6th December 2023.
Once FODDC have Approved the Application P0138/21/DISCON, and contractors have been secured it is hoped the Garage Development can start.
