On Sunday 12 November, 60 veterans and parishioners enjoyed a curry lunch at Holy Trinity Church, Drybrook, School Room. All enjoyed the meal and thanks must go to Drybrook Events Committee for organising this event on behalf of the Parish Council, Hearts of Oak for providing a bar service and Vales Family Butcher for the kind donation of chicken. The two Army Cadets from the Cinderford Unit, Oliver and Callum Middlecote deserve a special mention as they went above and beyond and represented the cadets extermely well. Mrs Middlecote also for getting stuck in and helping with the washing up. We would also like to thank both church wardens Jane and Susan for arranging the use of the hall and helping to organise the lunch.
