Mark Lake

Harrow Hill representative
Mark was born in Birmingham, grew up here, Leicestershire then Gloucestershire, before joining the RAF as a telecommunications engineer in 1992, being based out of Brize Norton. When Mark left the RAF he has continued in telecoms, working for various national and international companies whilst living in Oxfordshire and now Gloucestershire.
Mark moved to Harrow Hill in 2008 with his wife.
He spent nearly 30 years involved in the Scout Association as a youth & adult member, he’s been a School Trustee at a local primary & secondary school from 2014 to 2023 having chaired a number of committees at both establishments.
He volunteers for a 4×4 response organisation, enjoys land rover trialling and is a qualified instructor, working part time for a local company.
He enjoys gardening, diy, walking, mountain biking & motorsport. He used to play hockey and rugby, now preferringĀ just to watch these sports.
As a Councillor he hopes he can make a difference
