Dave was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and move to England when he joined the RAF in 1978 as a Medic and served for 24 years. He left the RAF in 2002 and settled in Stroud and started a Health & Safety Training & Consultancy business, which he still currently runs.
Dave Moved to Drybrook in 2022 and has quickly settled into the village life.
He has served as chairman of the Federation of Small Business (FSB) for 4 years responsible for the Stroud & South Cotswold branch, working with businesses and councils to promote businesses across the district. He is Instrumental in organising business to business shows across the county bringing businesses and Government agencies and councils together.
He is also a member of the FSB National Health & Safety Committee, for 3 years, lobbying Government on matters affecting FSB members and
currently, Chairs the Nailsworth Scout Group for 9 years, having been in involved in Scouting as a uniformed leader and executive member for over 39 years.
